Oh Summer In February... I already love you! Where do I preorder my Kleenex in bulk? But really... Love was made for me and you!
L is for the lovely Emily Browning who I haven't seen since A Series of Unfortunate Events, which is far too long!
O is for the one and only bewildered Cousin Matthew face, punctuated with those icy blues that leave my heart feeling frostbitten! Side note: the soup du jour is salty *SOB* in case you were wondering.
V is very very extra-ordinary scenery and BOOTS in the midst of a pre-drama bromance! In case you missed my days gushing about such things over on Victorian Swag (rest in peace, sweet angel!), a boots is what we call a British man in riding boots in a period piece who is more than welcome to whisk you away to his quiet manor in the woods and, say, father your children i.e. Mr. Darcy is the original boots! *swoon*
E is even more PROXIMITY and ALL CAPS FEELINGS in this scene than I'm probably capable of handling! I'm already having visions of myself splayed out on the theater floor, clutching a box of Milk Duds to my shell-shocked heart.
Weirdly, all signs pointing towards emotional terrorism only makes me want to see this more. I might need to plug into a liquid chocolate IV afterwards, but that's a risk I'm willing to take. How about you? Have you read the book by Jonathan Smith and/or will you be seeing the film? Reaching across the popcorn-strewn floor for my hand? I'll check your pulse if you check mine!
Oh Matthew Crawley! Adore him! And I'm definitely wanting to see this movie now!!!! Can't wait! :)

Ahhhhh me too!
DeleteUGH. I've been on the hunt for the book this is based on, but it seems an impossible find. Now I want to read it even more. And, oh, the fan flails this just induced. *heart-clutch*
ReplyDeleteI know. I KNOW. I really want to read it now. Even though it looks like a life-ruiner... Guh!
DeleteErmagherdd!! Moaar period stuffs! Can never have too much of those. I actually had no idea this was coming up so thanks for bringing it to my attention. Emily's gorgeous, and I quite liked her Violet in the Unfortunate Series film.
ReplyDeleteAnd RIP sweet angel, indeed *sniffs*
Period stuffs!!! You really can't have too many.
DeleteOh Victorian Swag... *guzzling my tears*
